Corticosteroid mix contains three corticosteroids each one representing one class of corticosteroid: hydrocortisone-21-acetate (Class A), hydrocortisone-17-butyrate (Class D2), budesonide (Class B). If you are allergic to one of the ingredients of the corticosteroid mix, you may cross react to similar steroids from the same class represented by your allergen. Topical preparations that may contain corticosteroids are ointments, emollient creams, and lotions.
Avoid products that list any of the following names in the ingredients:
• Hydrocortisone-21-acetate (Class A)
• Hydrocortisone-17-butyrate (Class D2)
• Budesonide (Class B)
