Dr. Fonacier is a physician and professor at NYU Langone Hospital - Long Island. In addition to serving as a physician and educator, she conducts research on allergic skin disease, including new medications for atopic dermatitis and difficult to control urticaria. She is also the past-president of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Her research also focuses on patients with suspect reactions to biomedical devices, such as knee or hip replacements, cardiac stents, or dental devices.

Dr. Fowler is a nationally recognized dermatologist who is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and former President of the North American Contact Dermatitis Group. He is a founding member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and a member of the European Society for Contact Dermatitis. Dr. Fowler along with his wife, Lynn Fowler RN, BSN founded DS Research about 20 years ago. He is author of over 250 peer-reviewed publications and co-editor of the text Fisher's Contact Dermatitis 3rd through 7th editions. He created the Caribbean and Coastal Dermatology Symposiums and is a frequent speaker at numerous national and international conferences.

Dr. Hylwa ("Hill-wah") is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota and faculty in dermatology at Hennepin County Medical Center and Park Nicollet Health System where she is a physician in the Contact Dermatitis Clinic and co-director of the Contact Dermatitis Fellowship. She received her medical degree from the University at Buffalo in New York graduating with AOA, cum laude, and research honors. She completed a residency in dermatology at the University of Minnesota and served as chief resident. She is a member of the European Society for Contact Dermatitis and the American Contact Dermatitis Society, previously serving on the Board of Directors. Dr. Hylwa has numerous publications and book chapters on the topic of dermatitis and contact dermatitis.

Dr. Jenny Murase is the Director of Medical Consultative Dermatology for the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group and an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Murase has authored over 180 peer reviewed publications and book chapters and given over 380 international, national and regional presentations, specializing in the management of dermatitis and women's health issues in dermatology. Dr. Murase served as Secretary of the Women's Dermatologic Society and co-Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Women's Dermatology, receiving a WDS Presidential Citation. She also served on the Board of Directors for the American Contact Dermatitis Society and received an ACDS Presidential Citation. She is the founder and chair of the American Academy of Dermatology Women's Health Expert Resource Group, and has served on multiple committees for the academy, including the Council on Education and Maintenance of Certification, the Employer Engagement Strategy Workgroup and the Clinical Guidelines Committee. She received the Volunteer Faculty of the Year award in 2010 and 2020 from the UCSF Department of Dermatology residents for her teaching, and has run over 30 symposiums for the American Academy of Dermatology, the European Society of Dermatology and Venerology, and the World Congress.

Prof. Luca Stingeni, MD, is Full Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Perugia and Director of the Dermatology Clinic at Perugia University Hospital. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in contact dermatitis, drug hypersensitivity reactions, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and allergic skin diseases. Prof. Stingeni has authored more than 300 scientific publications and has served as Principal Investigator in over 40 national and international clinical studies, and is an active member of several European and international dermatology research networks, including ESCD, ESSCA, EBS, and EECDRG. He is a member of the AIFA Technical Committee on the Clinical Use of Haptens for Patch Testing, actively collaborating with the Italian Medicines Agency on the scientific evaluation and regulatory aspects of allergens used in patch testing for Type IV hypersensitivity reactions.

Carsten R. Hamann is the Research Director at Contact Dermatitis Institute and a board-certified dermatologist at Saguaro Dermatology. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at Calvin College and went on to obtain his medical degree at Loma Linda University. After graduation, he attended the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, where he received his Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health and Epidemiology with a focus on risk factors and comorbidities of eczema. Post graduation, Dr. Hamann returned to the states to complete his Dermatology residency at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where he was the Chief Resident from 2020 – 2021 and the Assistant Chief Resident of Research from 2018-2020. Dr. Carsten R. Hamann is a co-author of 3 textbook chapters on rubber allergy and metal allergy, and he has authored more than 57 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Dathan Hamann is a board-certified dermatologist and the medical director of the Contact Dermatitis Institute. After obtaining his undergraduate degree at Calvin College and his medical degree at the University of Arizona, he did his dermatology residency at the Ohio State University where he also served as the Chief Resident of Research. He is the co-author of textbook chapters on rubber allergy and metal allergy and he has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications.

President, CEO and Medical Director of SmartPractice, Dr. Curt Hamann received his medical degree from Loma Linda University. A pioneer in the development of non-latex polymers for use in medical gloves, Dr. Hamann is an internationally-recognized authority on rubber-based allergies, glove manufacturing, hand hygiene and infection control. He attends annual FDA/CDC meetings as an international authority on latex hypersensitivity, is frequently published in peer-reviewed journals and speaks throughout the world on occupational allergies, infection control and patient communication.

Dr. JiaDe (Jeff) Yu is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and a dual board certified adult and pediatric dermatologist practicing at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He is the Director of Occupational and Contact Dermatitis Clinic and the Associate Director of Clinical Trials. He has a niche interest in pediatric allergic contact dermatitis and has published numerous peer reviewed articles on allergic contact dermatitis and atopic dermatitis in leading dermatology journals. He has received numerous research grants from the Dermatology Foundation, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance to better understand the biomedical underpinnings of allergic contact dermatitis. Dr. Yu is the President-Elect of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and has been invited to lecture nationally and internationally on his areas of expertise.

Dr. Taylor is Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and Consultant Dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. He is an FDA Special Government Employee, a member of the AMA House of Delegates, and the Steering Committee of the Cosmetic Ingredient Review. He has served 6 medical organizations in an official capacity, including as president of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and vice-president of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Dermatological Association. He has been a consultant to industry, governments, and non-profits. Current academic clinical research and scientific writing interests include contact, environmental and occupational dermatitis, quality and patient safety, artificial intelligence, peer review, and public policy. He is the author/co-author of 435 scientific articles, abstracts, letters, and book chapters. He is Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine and was former deputy editor of the American Journal of Contact Dermatitis.
