Strontium Chloride is used as a corrosion inhibitor for aluminum and also as a red coloring agent found in glass-making and pyrotechnics. It can be found in dental care products for the reduction of tooth sensitivity. A radioactive isotope of Strontium is used in the treatment of bone cancers.
